Navigating Statutory Adjudication – Lessons Learnt in Singapore

4 December @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm SGT

$38.00 - $50.00

2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the operation of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment (SOP) Act in Singapore. This Act was intended to facilitate cashflow in the construction industry and to provide contractors a quick and low-cost mode of resolving payment disputes.

During this webinar, we will explore whether these objectives have been achieved and share practical learning points for consultants in:

  • preparing contract terms governing payment;
  • preparing, assessing and certifying payment claims; and
  • supporting project participants in pursuing and defending adjudications

This session will also provide an overview of the key similarities and differences between Hong Kong’s SOP Ordinance and Singapore’s SOP Act

CPD: 1 point
