Our Quantity Surveying and Tax Depreciation team supports clients with expert cost advice, capital allowance schedules, and construction cost estimates.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing QS and Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Tax Depreciation Schedules for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct site inspections and collect data for cost estimation and reporting.
• Support the preparation of reinstatement cost assessments (insurance valuations), capital works fund forecasts and financer costing reports / progress claims.
• Liaise with clients, property managers, and internal stakeholders to gather required information.
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to reporting and compliance documentation.
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation, ATO guidelines, and industry standards.

About You

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Have own roadworthy vehicle for local and regional travel (as required).
• A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (for site visits).
• AIQS / RICS Membership (Full Members Only, Not Affiliate or Student)
