- new Application/Elevation Fees of AUD$150+GST will apply

Membership is available to anyone who by education and experience is involved in the sciences or professions concerned with:

  • Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management
  • Building and engineering economics
  • Financial, resource and contractual management
  • Dispute resolution
  • Quantification of material and labour inputs for all types of building, construction and industrial projects.

Affiliate Grade Membership
Affiliate grade membership is open to closely allied professionals that can demonstrate a level of expertise in Quantity Surveying skills. Click here for more information.

Student Grade Membership
Student grade membership is available to those undergraduates studying Quantity Surveying or an allied discipline. Click here for more information.

Graduate Grade Membership
Graduate grade membership is available to enable AIQS to advise and guide candidates towards Corporate membership after graduating from an undergraduate degree or during their postgraduate study and/or training. Click here for more information.

Member / Associate Grade Membership
Member grade membership and Associate Grade membership are identical in status and pre-requisite requirements. Existing Associate Grade members can elect to retain the Associate title or transfer to the Member title. However, no new Associate Grade memberships will be granted from 30 November 2012. All new successful applications to this grade will be awarded the Member Grade title. Member Grade membership is open to Quantity Surveyors able to demonstrate expertise in core Quantity Surveying competences. This is a corporate grade membership. Click here for more information.

Fellow Grade Membership
Fellow is a senior grade of membership created to recognise commitment and service to AIQS and the Quantity Surveying profession. Examples include professionalism in practice, the training, teaching or examination of students, engaging in public or community activities, or serving on committees set up by industry or government as well as service within AIQS. Click here for more information.

Any AIQS member wishing to practice in any of the countries named above must still satisfy the registration requirements of the associated country.

Irrespective of the above, each professional body reserves the right to deny membership or extend the practice period for any applicant under this agreement, when in the opinion of that body, the applicant does not satisfy all their educational or membership criteria.
