Highgate Residential Construction Site Visit - 2pm Session

Join the WA chapter for a site visit to the Alliance Builders residential project in Highgate - get in quick as spots are limited!

Alliance Builders has provided WA Chapter members with a unique opportunity to visit a residential building that is the first in WA to use locally-made mass timber construction. 12 Smith Street is a four-storey building constructed with hybrid and cross laminated timber (CLT). Interestingly, CLT offers a sustainable alternative to concrete slabs providing a net benefit of over eight tons of captured C02 in every ton of CLT used.

Please note the following rules must be adhered to for admission onto the site:

• All attendees will be required to check-in via the SmartWA or Services WA app.
• All attendees will be required to wear (and bring) a hard hat (PPE)
• COVID restrictions/requirements will be in place and may change following the opening of the WA borders. Attendees will be required to adhere to any mandated restrictions and requirements on the day.
