Webinar: Innovative Quantity Surveying Practices Powered by AI - International Chapter - R2

This CPD session explores the transformative impact of AI on quantity surveying. Attendees will examine how AI drives greater efficiency, accuracy, and informed decision-making in QS. The session will cover the development of AI models and efficient decision-making using predictive analytics. It will also discuss the use of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for advanced document analysis, as well as the integration of AI agents to automate QS workflows.

Special focus will be given to cutting-edge applications such as automated Bill of Quantities (BOQ) description generation and Word-to-BIM technologies. The session will further highlight how AI can convert textual project descriptions into detailed BIM models. Through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants will gain insights into implementing AI-powered solutions within their own practices.

Ishini Saparamadu is an innovator and AI solutions engineer specialising in construction technology. She currently serves as CEO at Concolabs—a company she founded in 2023 to deliver cutting-edge software solutions for the construction industry. Additionally, Ishini works as an AI Solutions Engineer at Intelligent Label Solutions.

A recent first-class honors graduate in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa, Ishini received the distinction of being named the university’s most outstanding graduand. Her work focuses on AI-powered platforms, BIM integrations, SaaS products, and customized software for the construction sector. Ishini’s contributions have earned her numerous awards for innovations such as a contract administration chatbot and an interim payment certificate generator.
