Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Tasks:

1. Sourcing new opportunities through engagement with contacts
2. Liaising with members of the design team, contractors and clients
3. Cost estimating including pricing and checking your own work
4. Value Management of Cost Estimates
5. Tender reporting
6. Contract reviews and risk reporting
7. Financier reporting including Initial Bank Reports and Monthly Drawdowns
8. Monthly progress claims and variation reviews
9. Be the day-to-day point of contact for projects under your management

Requirements:

1. Keen to deliver exceptional results for every client
2. Previous experience within Queensland is preferred although not essential
3. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Management
4. Experience in supporting Associates and Directors and the wider team
5. Good communicator
6. Excellent in the use of computer software including Microsoft and Cost X
7. Clean driving license and willingness to travel for site inspection

Our office is based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and you will be expected to work from this office.

This is a client facing role and covers all aspects of Quantity Surveying including pre-contract cost estimating, tender reviews, post contract management including progress claims and variation reviews, financier reporting and Value for Money Reviews.
