The purpose of this Annual Report is to provide you with relevant details on the performance of AIQS throughout 2019-2020 that directly relate to the AIQS 2015-2020 Strategic Plan. Alternatives to combustible facades and related design/cost impacts

Combustible cladding is a highly flammable building and façade product that has been installed on many buildings around the world, including Australia.

In Australia these dangerous building materials have been getting installed since the late 1990s. The industry became aware of its deadly capabilities after the Lacrosse Apartment fire in 2014 and began preventing its installation after this date. However, the definitive cessation of its installment in Australia is unknown.

Join us to explore the extent of the problem, the potential solutions, the cost impact and key hidden risks. We will explore design, procurement and cost with three experienced speakers followed by a Q&A.
