Jitender Girdhar, FAIQS, FIS, FRICS

Jitender’s contribution to the construction sector is remarkable and counts well over 24 years of experience in the construction industry in India, Middle East, UK, US & Australia. His professional experience encompasses fields of Quantity surveying, Building Information Modelling, Cost Management, Construction auditing, Value Engineering, Risk management, Value Management, Project management, and Claims Preparation & Management.

 

Ramesh Palikila B.Tech (Civil), FIS, FAIQS, CQS, FRICS

Ramesh has over 24 years of techno-commercial experience in the construction industry in UAE, Malaysia and India. He has been involved with a wide variety of large scale mixed development construction projects. His experience includes implementation of best practice with procurement strategies, contracts management, cost management and effective contract administration.
Ramesh is currently leading his own management consultant in the capacity of CEO in middle east. Further to his hard work and selfless service to Quantity Surveying professionals in Middle East, he has received two international awards from RICS in the categories of “Outstanding Mentor” in MENA region in 2009 and “Best Counselor” in 2011 in Dubai. In November 2013, he received an infinite value award in the individual category of “QS Advocacy award” with a global recognition from AIQS in Sydney, Australia. 

Ajantha Premarathna FAIQS, CQS, MBA (USJ), MSc(PM), FRICS, FIQSSL

President of AIQS International Chapter and the Chairman of the AIQS UAE Branch. Ajantha is a Fellow member of AIQS and a Certified Quantity Surveyor, member of RICS since 1993 and a Fellow member of IQSSL, works as Senior Commercial Manager with Wasl Properties LLC, has over 30 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration in Sri Lanka, Oman and in the UAE.

Prof. Chitra Weddikkara , FIQS FAIQS FIASL FRICS ARAIA IPMSL

Emeritus Prof. Chitra Weddikkara is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management and Law.  Currently she is the Dean of the Colombo School of Construction Technology Srilanka. She is also Managing Partner of group of companies namely Qserve Global having Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Construction Management services, with branches in the Middle East.  
She was also the Head of Department of Building Economics and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, Past President of the Sri-lanka Institute of Architects and the Past President of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors, She is a member of number of professional institutes both in Sri Lanka and abroad. 

She was also the President of the Commonwealth Association of Surveyors and Land Economists (CASLE).  Currently she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) and a Member of the Procurement Commission (NPC ) Sri-Lanka
