If you have recently retired from the industry and are currently hold Fellow or Member/Associate grades of membership, you may be eligible for Retired membership status.
Please note that if you currently hold the Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) designation, you will lose this designation upon becoming a Retired member.
Retired members are entitled to:
- use the post-nominal letters of your immediate grade upon retirement with (Ret.) succeeding the post-nominal letters (e.g. FAIQS (Ret.) or MAIQS (Ret.))
- reduced membership fees.
Please be aware that Retired members cannot:
- hold any position on Chapter Council or the AIQS Board
- nominate a prospective member for AIQS membership
- vote at Annual, Special, Ordinary or General Meetings of AIQS or Chapter.
