
NSW Chapter Site Visit: Boral Laboratory Tour – Embodied Carbon and Low Carbon Concrete
Join us for this workshop event facilitated by Boral Materials Technical Services, where you will be provided with information about embodied carbon concepts including key parameters around emission quantifications, and insights into the innovative solutions currently in the market to reduce emissions for new constructions.
The event will start with an in-person tour in Boral’s laboratory, followed by a presentation and Q&A session.
A light lunch will be provided at this event.
NOTE: Attendees at this event will need to wear Personal Protective Equipment consisting of a long sleeved shirt; long pants; and safety boots.
About the speakers:
Angelo Guerrera
National Technical Product Manager, Boral
Angelo has worked in the construction materials and building products industry for 30 years, having worked in various technical, innovation and product management roles. Angelo currently leads Boral’s Product Management function.
Ben Gow
Head of Technical Services, Boral
Ben has worked in the construction materials industry for over 25 years, working as an R&D scientist, before gaining experience in Operations and Project Management. Ben currently leads Boral’s national Concrete and Quarries Technical teams.
