This 2 hour webinar will provide participants with an overview of Division 40 and Division 43 of the Income Tax Assessment Act (1997) as amended.

The webinar will include a range of flowcharts and tables designed to simplify the content. Participants will be provided with a variety of examples, including true/false questions. As such, the workshop will be highly interactive and will aim to keep participants engaged.

About the Speaker

 

Stephen Marsden CPA
Lecturer, QUT Business School

Stephen Marsden is a full-time lecturer employed at the QUT Business School, where he is responsible for lecturing and tutoring a range of financial accounting and law units at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Stephen has presented numerous professional development seminars and workshops over the past thirty years for CPA Australia in the areas of financial reporting, FBT, income tax and GST.

He has also authored several of CPA's course manuals including Understanding Key Accounting Workshops in a Day, Preparing Annual Financial Statements, FBT in a Day and FBT: Cars, Car Parking and Salary Packaging. Stephen is also a registered tax agent who also runs his own small boutique accounting practice where he provides a range of accounting and taxation services and advice to clients in the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
