Webinar

2020 has been an unquestionably difficult year for quantity surveyors and construction in general.

Projects were paused indefinitely and future investments shrouded in uncertainty, as it quickly became clear that construction activity would not simply revert to the status quo. In late 2020, however, a silver lining exists regarding the future of our profession.

More and more businesses across project lifecycles are taking early steps on their digital transformation journey. This enforced industry standstill has given decision-makers the time to re-assess their processes and value propositions, and it is becoming evident that outcomes must improve if our industry is to reach its productivity potential.

For quantity surveying businesses, this means moving away from manual processes to implement advanced digital solutions that support efficient takeoff and estimating.

This webinar will provide a background to the short-term impact of COVID-19 on construction, before highlighting the technologies, processes and software solutions that will shape the future of our industry. It will also walkthrough step-by-step advice for businesses looking to enact their own digital transformation plan in an uncertain industry climate.
