In November 2018, AIQS launched the Australia and New Zealand BIM Best Practice Guidelines in partnership with New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors. These Guidelines are an essential guide for built environment cost professionals looking to be involved with a project utilising BIM.
AIQS Construction Finance Reports Guidance Note, developed in consultation with representation from financial institutions, was also launched in November 2018. The purpose of this Guidance Note is to create a uniform scope of service and clarify the quantity surveyor’s role in providing construction cost management services to both the financier(s) and developer.
In June 2019, AIQS released the Replacement Cost Assessments, Information Paper. The purpose of this Information Paper is to inform AIQS Members and their clients on factors impacting replacement cost assessments and to establish a common approach to undertaking replacement cost assessments.
