Construction projects involve many moving parts; this CPD event will approach risk management from a time and cost perspective.

The first step is to identify the risk event, assess the extent of the risk, provide measures to control the risk and manage any residual risk. With such, you will be in a better position to plan, monitor and control those measures needed to prevent exposure to risk.

This event will consist of a presentation of practical approaches from two experts from Time and Cost, to ensure both are equally considered as they will impact quality, health and wellbeing of those involved and the profitability of stakeholders.

It will be an interactive session, explaining the basics to someone starting their career and exploring current issues that are arising locally and around the globe.

Quantity surveyor’s play an integral part in steering the success of projects for government, developers, financiers, builders and designers. Through identification of the risks are and managing them successfully the Quantity Surveyor can assure cost certainty.
