Integrating off-site construction into cost plans
28 July @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST
$38.00 - $50.00
This webinar explores how off-site construction is reshaping cost planning, estimating and the evolving role of quantity surveyors. As the global construction sectors slowly shift toward factory-made buildings with manufacturing-led delivery, traditional approaches to estimating and cost control must adapt. The session will provide an overview of how off-site construction influences cost structures, estimating, procurement strategies, and project timelines, highlighting key differences from traditional construction.
Participants will gain insight into the unique cost drivers, risks, and value propositions associated with off-site construction approaches, including the implications of early design decisions, supply chain integration, and logistics. The webinar will also discuss how quantity surveyors can effectively incorporate off-site construction into cost plans, support informed decision-making, and contribute to better project outcomes.
Designed for built environment professionals, this session offers practical perspectives to help navigate a rapidly changing construction landscape and position quantity surveyors as strategic advisors in modern project delivery.
