For professionals with quantity surveying skills who don’t have the prerequisites to become a Graduate, Member, or Fellow.
For experienced quantity surveying professionals wanting to become a Certified Quantity Surveyor.
For long-standing members who have demonstrated significant commitment to the profession and AIQS.
For anyone interested in engaging with the profession but not working as a quantity surveying professional.
Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS)
The Certified Quantity Surveyor designation is the best way to have your expertise recognised and demonstrate your credibility to potential clients, employers, and government. CQS is required by several clients and government agencies to provide quantity surveying services.
All Member (MAIQS) and Fellow (FAIQS) grade members hold the CQS designation (new members from 1 January 2024). These members earn the CQS designation on commencement of their membership and are permitted to use CQS in their postnominals following their membership grade (e.g., MAIQS, CQS or FAIQS, CQS).
