Career Progression

1. Students

AIQS offers a number of benefits to students interested in or studying a construction-related degree at university. These include a range of scholarships for Year 12 students seeking to pursue an AIQS-accredited program, free student membership for those currently studying, and recognises exceptional academic performance by awarding high-achieving students.

Work Experience (high school level)

Connecting students with quantity surveying firms to foster mentorship and cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.

Accredited University Courses

Graduates who complete an AIQS accredited course are recognised as meeting the academic requirements for entry to the profession of quantity surveying.

Scholarships

Each year, AIQS provides a range of scholarships for commencing students enrolling in an AIQS-accredited degree within Australia.

Student Grade Membership

Open to individuals who are currently studying and are interested in pursuing a career in quantity surveying.

Awards

AIQS sponsors a number of prizes for high-achieving students undertaking AIQS accredited courses in Australia.

2. Emerging Professionals

Become a part or a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate community of professional Quantity Surveyors. Quantity Surveying Emerging Professionals (QSEP) offers a range of activities for emerging professionals such as site visits, educational events, and networking functions, providing members with opportunities to advance their skills and knowledge and expand their networks.

3. Established Professionals

To further support quantity surveyors, AIQS provides Continuing Professional Development webinars, networking events and opportunities for elevated membership grades and industry recognition.

There are a range of CPD activities including AIQS-offered webinars, technical papers.

Open to quantity surveying professionals who can demonstrate proficiency in at least eight Competency units.
