This session will provide insights into the Queensland Government’s recently updated construction contracts for Construct Only and D&C as well as the ECI and MC Contracts.
Attendees will learn the key differences from the previous Standard Australia contracts and gain a deeper understanding of the ECI / MC contract.
The event will also provide an opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals over breakfast and engage directly with senior government and private sector representatives.

As a Registered Architect who holds a Master of Construction Law, Janelle is experienced in all aspects of construction contracting, including preparing project briefs and contract documentation, tendering and contract administration, contract drafting and the resolution of complex disputes.
In her role as Chief Contracts Officer for the Department of Housing and Public Works, Janelle is responsible for leading a team of high-performing professionals to develop and maintain standard building construction contracts and associated guidance, manage the resolution of complex building construction related disputes and provide advice and services to Queensland Government agencies on a broad range of building construction related matters.
