Fellow grade is an elevated membership grade that rewards professionals who have significantly contributed to the profession and industry through involvement with AIQS and/or the development of standards, educational material, or reports.
Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS)
All new members granted Fellow grade will also receive the Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) designation. The CQS designation is available to Voting members (Member grade, Fellow grade, and Life Fellow grade).

Eligibility
To attain Fellow grade, applicants must fulfil one of the following criteria:
Have held Member grade for a minimum of 10 years, a senior professional or academic position for a minimum of three years, and have demonstrated a significant commitment to the quantity surveying profession (by serving on the AIQS Board, a Chapter or Region Council, or shown leadership within the industry).
or
Hold Fellow grade membership with an organisation with whom AIQS has a current Mutual Recognition Agreement.
How to Apply

Submit an Expression of Interest form. Please ensure you upload your up-to-date personal CV.

Our Membership Team will assess your eligibility and provide the appropriate application form.

Complete and submit your application form along with any requested documentation.

Complete and pass the AIQS Code of Conduct Quiz.

Once your application has been reviewed, you will sit an APC Interview (online or face-to-face).

If successful, you will become a Fellow and attain the Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) designation.
APC Interview and Competencies
Fellow grade applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency across a minimum of eight of the Competency units, of which at least four units must be from two of the three Core Competency areas, to be successful in their APC Interview.
