10 Cost Considerations when Estimating Off-Form Concrete Compared to Conventional Concrete
9 April @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST
$38.00 - $50.00
Off‑form concrete is one of the most visually striking yet financially risky elements in modern construction, and understanding its real cost drivers is essential for accurate estimating.
This webinar will break down the key differences between off‑form and conventional concrete, showing how premium formwork materials, specialised labour, strict tolerances, and batch‑perfect mix designs dramatically shift cost centres and increase estimator risk. You’ll learn why even minor defects become major financial liabilities, how protection, remediation, and architectural finishing requirements impact budgets, and where genuine savings can be realised by eliminating downstream finishing trades.
Designed specifically for quantity surveyors, this session will equip you with practical frameworks to measure, price, and manage the heightened precision and contingencies required for architectural concrete. If you want to avoid costly surprises and deliver tighter, more defensible estimates, this webinar is a must‑attend.
