Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Brisbane
Due to the continued growth of our Brisbane office, we are seeking Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join our team as soon as possible.
This cadetship program requires you to be currently studying or about to commence a course in construction management or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Staff: Assist senior staff in delivering high-quality quantity surveying services.
- Estimating and Administration: Help with estimating project costs and administrative tasks.
- Client Engagement: Attend site visits and meetings with clients.
- Project Involvement: Engage in projects across various sectors, such as health, defence, and education.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a building or construction-related degree.
- Communication: High-level verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate a professional attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.
- Membership Eligibility: Eligible for student membership to a recognized professional institution such as AIQS or RICS.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Self-Motivation: Show initiative, motivation, and sound organizational and prioritization skills.
- Team Player: Strong ability to work as part of a team.
