About PaCE
PaCE QS Services is a quantity surveying and project controls company that is always looking to improve, be innovative and to transform the industry in the way we do business. The company is seeking 2 Intermediate Quantity Surveyor’s with specific skills and experience in the Luxury Hotel Development or Hospitality and Integrated Resort Development Sectors. In this role the QS’s will have the opportunity to work alongside the Company’s Senior / Management Quantity Surveyors who will provide ongoing direction on and mentorship.
About the role
As the quantity surveyor you will be responsible for the following:
- Project implementation and drafting tender and contract documents.
- Assisting in contract negotiations and administration by enforcing prescribed conditions.
- Prepare, assess, and negotiate on progress claims.
- Prepare and/or respond to claims centered upon EOT’s, Variations.
- Commercial reporting, cost forecasting (pro-active), and cost control.
- Cashflow and Cost flow forecasts
- Final account close-outs and negotiations.
- Adapt to client specific contractual requirements and understand the impact thereof.
- Travel to Malaysia is mandatory for this position (durations at the start will require +2 weeks per visit)
- Other international and local travel may be required on an as needs basis.

Skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a quantity surveyor in the Luxury Hotel Development or Hospitality and Integrated Resort Development Sectors.
- 4+’ years experience (post-grad).
- Successful track record (with references).
- Knowledge of software typically relied upon to support commercial functions, such as MS Excel (and whole suite of MS packages), Expert Estimator/DimX or similar, Primavera P6 and Power Bi.
Job-type and Location: Full-time position, Perth H/O based with mandatory travel.
Education: Bachelor of Urban Development (QS), Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent degree of relevance.
