If you are working as a built environment cost professional (e.g. Quantity Surveyor, Cost Consultant, Cost Planner, Cost Manager, Cost Engineers, etc), have a relevant degree and are able to demonstrate a broad range of skills across a minimum of two from the three core competency areas combined with practical experience, you can apply for Member Grade.
PATHWAY ONE
- Accredited Academic Qualifications or Recognised Academic Qualifications (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
- Minimum two years’ experience under Approved Supervision or three years’ experience under non-Approved Supervision (that can be verified by some other acceptable means)
- For applicants with over two years’ experience under Approved Supervision or three years’ experience under non-approved supervision but less than five years of work experience in total, to complete 15 Academy Topics (includes the Code of Conduct)
- Successful completion of an APC
PATHWAY TWO
- Non-Accredited or non-Recognised Academic Qualifications (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
- Completion of indicated “Top-Up Topics” on the AIQS Academy as outlined in the Membership Entry and Advancement Policy - Section 8. Member Grade Pathway 2 Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience under approved supervision or three years’ experience under non-approved supervision (that can be verified by some other acceptable means)
- Successful completion of an APC
PATHWAY THREE
- An ability to prove a high level of expertise as a Quantity Surveyor, by demonstrating a broad range of skills across a minimum of two of the three core competencies
- Minimum eight years’ experience under Approved Supervision or ten years’ experience under non-approved supervision (that can be verified by some other acceptable means), within a Quantity Surveying professional or academic role
- Successful completion of an APC
